Madeira at St. Augustine
Madeira is a distinguished planned residential community located adjacent to the Tolomato River just north of St. Augustine, Florida, directly across U.S. Highway 17 from the St. Johns County Administrative Office complex. Madeira has been carefully developed to maintain the natural beauty of the land, creeks and marsh so you can enjoy living where adventurous Europeans first chose to live in the New World. Nestled along the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway, Madeira is perfectly situated in one of northeast Florida’s most desirable areas. The community encompasses just over one thousand acres with more than 600 set aside forever for preservation as unspoiled wetlands.
The Madeira community is approved for 749 residential dwellings in total, with a generous selection of single family home sites already developed, offering 55 or 65 feet of street frontage. Home sites with 75 foot and 85 foot frontages are planned for the future. A Madeira Residents Club building is presently under construction, and when complete, will include approximately 3300 square feet of activity space under roof. A 2100 square foot resort-style swimming pool has been completed as part of the Club.
New Leaf is proud to have left its mark in this community, building over 40 homes in this growing neighborhood.
